By Doug Freeman
Florida Scouting Director

An extremely impressive and highly touted group of 2017-2020's came to the Preseason All-State at IMG Academy on Saturday January 21st and did not disappoint. Over the course of the next few week we will break down every single player in attendance. The players ran through a pro-style defensive workout and game for the Preseason All-State.Today we take a look of the Top 10 Risers from the Preseason All-State event.

No. 10

Jared Dole, 2B/RHP, Manatee HS, FL (2018)
The 5-foot-9, 150-pound middle infielder and right handed pitcher is the definition of the high energy, undersized player. He has shown all around above average tools. In the infield, he shows above average range with above average hands in the middle. He shows plenty of arm topping out at 85 mph across the infield. Offensively, the right handed hitter has a leg kick and an really fires the back side well with quick hands and an aggressive approach. He shows sneaky power to the pull side driving a few balls off of the scoreboard in left field. On the mound, the arm strength carried well, sitting 84-85 mph. Worked down in the zone with clean arm action and feel for pitching. Also showed a tight curveball at 70 mph. Overall, the tools we have seem really played well and will be a player to watch in the spring.
