Charlotte Stampede – 1                Charlotte Country Day – 11

PBR was on hand for the Wednesday matchup featuring the Charlotte Stampede at Charlotte Country Day.  The Bucs of Country Day jumped out early, ending the game after 5 innings due to the 10-run rule.  Jakob Vanderhave worked 4 innings without giving up a hit in the win.  The Country Day offense was paced Langston Rupert and Connor Miller, each with two hits and a double.

Up 1-0 in the 2nd, the Bucs posted a 5 spot in the 2nd to bust the game open.  In total, the Bucs offense racked up 12 hits, four doubles, and used 4 walks to score 11 times on the day. 

Two Country Day arms combined in the win.  Vanderhave punched 6 in his 4 innings.  Parker Stephens worked the final frame, recording a strikeout.

The Stampede offense was paced by Alex Stepanek with a hit and an RBI.  Andrew Stepanek scored the lone run for the Stampede.
