Throughout the summer, PBR Scouts ran PBR Scout Days with organizations from across North Carolina.  The Scout Days offer players a chance to go through a PBR workout, update their profiles with stats and video, and qualify for PBR event like the PBR Future Games and Top Prospect Games.  The Scout Days are run at a substantially lower cost than a typical Open ID with the help of the organization involved.

For the organizations, the PBR Scout Days offer the opportunity to run their players through a Combine type of testing, evaluating their developmental program, along with giving players neutral feedback as to where they stand vs. their peers.  All of the information is contained on one web page, allowing organizations to publicize their rosters to college coaches and scouts with one convenient click on the mouse.

In this series of articles, to release weekly, we will dive into the spring & summer of 2022 PBR Scout Days.  Each article will take a look at one particular tool, giving a feel for the players that put up big numbers at their event.  Each player listed has a full PBR Profile with stats, video, and more.

Average Exit Velocity

Exit velocity is measured throughout the BP sessions.  While the max exit velocity gives us some insight into a player's power potential, the average exit velocity will combine the player's ability to drive the baseball with how often he can repeat the swing and find the barrel.
