Scout Notes: Region X Showcase Day 2

PBR was at Campbell University on September 23 - 25 for the annual Region X Showcase. The event features 11 total teams from Region X. Each team gets time to take BP indoors and then take a full infield/outfield, followed by two controlled scrimmages. The Showcase, designed to give college coaches and pro scouts an early look at each school, has quickly become a hot spot for JUCO recruiting in the fall.
Today we dive into some of the athletes from Day 2 that stood out. The event features pitchers throwing 1-2 innings apiece with each club working through their roster in their two scrimmages to give hitters a look at the live setting. While it is much easier to put a report on the pitchers a the event, there were hitters from each day that stood out as well. Day 2 featured Gaston CC, Florence-Darlington Tech CC, Brunswick CC, and Wake Tech CC
