Behind a dominant performance from Carson Boleman, Southside Christian cruised to a 5-1 victory to advance to the 1A Upper state Championship. Southside would strike early in the game in the 1st with 3 runs produced by Busby, Tolson, and Boleman. That would be all Southside would need to win the game, but they would scratch for a few runs in the 5th and 6th frames. Lewisville responded in the 1st with a run off the bat of Rosa but could not manufacture any more momentum against Boleman the rest of the game.
