WINGATE, N.C. — Prospect all-star teams from five different summer college leagues joined up on the campus of Wingate University for the two-day Southeast Collegiate Prospect Showcase on July 16-17. Last week, I broke down some prospects who stood out from the Cal Ripken LeagueFlorida Leagueand SCBL teams. Today, let’s break down some Sunbelt League prospects of interest.

• The best arm on the Sunbelt team was righthander Matthew Swain, a rising senior at NAIA Georgia Gwinnett College. Swain stands out most for his 6-foot-8, 230-pound frame; he has long, powerful legs and works downhill from a high arm slot.
