The Hotlist: Sneak Peek At Risers In 2015 Rankings

The 2015 Overall Rankings will be updated soon and to whet your appetite, the Hotlist is providing a sneak peek at who will be climbing the list. Below are several players that have made progress in recent months and will be attached to a higher number when the list is posted.

Zac Conner, RHP, Paul Laurence Dunbar HS, KY
Previously unranked, Conner attended Kentucky's Preseason All-State Showcase and emerged as a potential high-level prospect. His fastball touched 86 mph on several occasions and had late arm-side run. His curveball sat 74-76, and he showed a 78-mph slider. While both pitches tended to be a little flat, they could become solid offerings with continued development. Conner's changeup is currently his best secondary pitch, as he throws it with good arm action at 76-79 with late fade. At 6-foot-5, 190 pounds, Conner is very projectable and should continue to show velocity gains in the near future.
