The Hotlist: Unsigned Seniors

By Nathan Rode
National Supervisor

Sure, lots of colleges get recruiting done early and players make their decisions before their senior year. That doesn’t mean there isn’t talent available in the senior class or programs are done looking. Below are several unsigned seniors with the ability to contribute at the next level.

John Bowman, RHP, Canton HS, PA
A three-sport athlete and three-year starter as quarterback for Canton, Bowman also holds a 46-17 career record as a wrestler. He is wiry and athletic at 6-foot-1, 175 pounds. He can be enigmatic due participating straight off the gridiron or mat, but he has run his fastball up to 87 mph. His clean arm action combined with his athleticism and low-mileage arm portend a velocity jump once he devotes his full attention to baseball at the next level.
