PBR’s Matt Payne takes a look at some of the top recruiting classes inside North Carolina.  Payne is an associate scout with PBR of North Carolina.  A decorated player from AC Reynolds HS and North Carolina State University, Payne began his coaching career after a stint in professional baseball.  Payne spent time as a coach and recruiting coordinator at several North Carolina schools prior to joining PBR’s team.

Top Early Signing Classes of 2019 in NC

With the fall signing period behind us we take a look at some of the top signing classes from the state.  With a lot of high school talent across the state, North Carolina schools continue to work hard to keep kids at home.  With several top tier college programs in North Carolina these college coaches grind each year to get the best players from their home state as well as adding other players from across the country. 

Full coverage of all of the 2019 in-state recruiting classes can be found on PBR.  Our team of scouts took a look at every Division I’s early signing class, as well as several key DII, DIII, and JUCO programs from across North Carolina.  The five schools featured below all compete at a National Level and four of the five have been regulars in NCAA regionals over the past few years.
