Top Position Players Coming to Future Games

PBR Staff

The Hotlist has been on hiatus for a little while, but now is the perfect time for its return, as the 2021 Future Games are just two weeks away. After being split into three pods last year and coaches not being able to attend, we’ll be back to normal with 32 teams at LakePoint in Georgia and hundreds of college coaches in attendance. In preparation for the event, we look at some of the top players who will be participating. This week, it’s position players...

Evan Blake, IF, Taconic HS, MA (2023)
Blake stands at 6 feet, 180 pounds with his best days in front of him. He runs a 7.0 60 and has a solid approach in the infield with hands that work. He has an even set-up and his hands work freely, producing a flat to slightly uphill path through contact and showing a chance to hit for power.

Colton Coates, IF, DeSoto Central HS, MS (2023)
On defense, Coates shows good range, excellent footwork and a strong arm with carry across the diamond. A switch-hitter, he shows pop from both sides of the plate, spraying the ball to all fields. He can run a 6.62 60.
