Top Uncommitted 2020s

Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

On this week’s Coffee and Curveballs, we highlighted five uncommitted 2020s that should be on follow lists going into this summer. The Hotlist looks at several more.

Daniel Bebee, C/RHP, Shawnee Mission South HS, KS
Bebee has a strong, athletic frame at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds. Over the winter, he ran a 7.26 60-yard dash and posted an 89 mph exit velocity at the Wichita Winter Open Showcase. He showed feel for the barrel, getting extension through the ball that produces power to left field. He shows good actions behind the plate, throwing with a quick, 3/4 arm action and pop times from 1.89-1.97 in a showcase setting. He also shows off his athleticism in the infield with fluid footwork. On the mound, Bebee is fluid and rhythmic with his delivery. The fastball sits 83-85 and he’ll mix in a two-seamer with arm-side run. The changeup has some sink and is thrown at 76-78 with near fastball arm speed, though he lowers his slot. His curveball has 12/6 shape and late bite at 69. The slider is 71-73 with 10/4 shape and gradual action.
