Report: Barbosa, a physical and strong 6-foot-1, 195-pound catcher with strength and pop from the right side is one of the top uncommitted catchers in our 2020 class. The bat is his best present tool as Barbosa can drive balls gap to gap and has the power to leave the yard. It’s controlled and quiet in the box, small stride with natural lift and high finish to his swing.
