Prep Baseball Report

Uncommitted 2021 Pitchers

Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

The spring season is near and while it remains to be seen how much baseball will actually be played, there are several uncommitted players who should be followed, even if it’s virtually. Last week, The Hotlist highlighted some position players looking for a college program, some of whom offer two-way ability. This week, we look at some uncommitted 2021 arms.

Michael Aleksa, RHP, Benedictine College Prep, VA
Aleksa is 5-foot-10, 180 pounds with an athletic frame that has some strength in the lower half and projection left to it. He throws from a high-3/4 arm slot, short, loose and quick arm action with some effort to his delivery. The shoulders are level and closed and he lands closed with a fall off to his finish. The fastball is 84-86 with some late arm-side run to it. The curveball is thrown with some arm speed and sits 70-71 with sharp 11/5 break to it. The slider is 71-73 with good arms peed and late, hard 10/4 break.
