CINCINNATI - A lifelong dream is beginning to come to fruition. Wright State, Miami of Ohio, VMI, Cedarville and Indiana Wesleyan are all showing an interest in Clay Brock, a right-handed pitcher at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy. “It’s been my dream since I can remember and I’m working hard for it,” the 59th-ranked player in Ohio’s 2019 class said. “I joined the Cincinnati Flames at 11. I love the game and have a passion for it. It’s just something I love to do. “When I was younger I played the three sports but then I started narrowing it down. I stopped playing football in seventh grade and stopped basketball in ninth grade. Baseball became my focus. It’s what I want to focus on. It’s something I have a passion for and I knew it could help pay for my college.” The PBR profile of the 6-2 210-pounder brought notice from some of the colleges according to Brock, with more exposure taking place this summer. The Top Prospect Games just completed along with tournaments and camps with the Riverbats gives more colleges an opportunity to see what Brock can do. |
