Ontario Insider: Class of 2020 Player Rankings (November)
With 2018 coming to an end, we have gone through our 2020 rankings, expanded our list with even more players for schools to lock in on, and reshaped the list with big summers by prospects all over the board.
The college commitment list us still untapped in the 2020 class, but with 5 of the top 6 ranked players already committed, and to big time programs like Michigan, St.John’s, Missouri, VCU and Campbell.
That still leaves for plenty of options to choose from for college coaches as the list has expanded to over 125 ranked prospects and 95% of the list being uncommitted. Look for big things and lots of movement in 2019 as juniors in Canada seem to make big strides over the winter months and start to separate themselves and give a much truer look as to what they are and what they could become.
We take a look below at the top of the rankings, some newcomers and risers as well few names to pay attention to from our 2020 Class of prospects in Ontario. Check it all out below.

CONNOR O'HALLORAN LHP / 1B / ST. MARTINS, ON / 2020Rankings StateRank: 1 / POS: 1
Report: O’Halloran was a standout at the Future Games this year and drew a lot of heat with his three inning performance. The lefty pitches with polish and feel with his three-pitch mix and commands the ball well and shows pitchability beyond his years. O’Halloran works in the 83-86 range with his fastball while the changeup backs up well with fading action and arm-speed while he can spin his breaking ball with 1/7 shape and it has good downward action and comes out his hand true. Recently committed to Michigan, O’Halloran tops our list as the top ranked prospect with upside to come as he matures and adds strength to his frame. Will be fun to watch grow over the next two years.
