Updated Class of 2021 Player Rankings (September)

The spring/summer have proved valuable for many 2021 prospects, with many names coming off the board to some of the top programs around the nation. Throughout the year we have traveled across the region to showcases and games.

That being said, we have had the pleasure of seeing a number of solid players this past year. Prospects are popping up left and right, making velocity jumps, improving 60-yard dash times and showing more power with the bat.

Below we will take a look at “The Risers”, "The Newcomers”, "Who's Next", "The Sleepers" and some of the top uncommitted prospects by position.

The Risers

Logan Maxwell OF / Lima Shawnee, OH / 2021

Uncommitted OF Logan Maxwell came into the Future Games with one scholarship offer and now has just about a school from every conference asking to get in touch with him. The MVP for Team Ohio didn’t record an out through six at bats, going 4-for-4 with 2 BB against some of the top arms in the country. He eventually made an out but a little context behind that, he tweaked his shoulder (100% healthy now) on a diving attempt in centerfield and then proceeded to fly out to the opposite field warning track. If there’s a hitter in the ‘21 class that is better at finding barrels than Maxwell, we haven’t seen him.
