Updated Class of 2022 Player Rankings (September)

The spring/summer have proved valuable for many 2022 prospects, with many names coming off the board to some of the top programs around the nation. Throughout the year we have traveled across the region to showcases and games.

That being said, we have had the pleasure of seeing a number of solid players this past year. Prospects are popping up left and right, making velocity jumps, improving 60-yard dash times and showing more power with the bat.

Below we will take a look at "The Newcomers”, "The Risers", "Arms To Keep An Eye On", "Just Missed The Cut".

The Newcomers

Andrew Jones SS / RHP / Brush, OH / 2022

Report: Recent Buckeye commit Andrew Jones is the type of prospect you don’t have to see multiple times to know that he’s the real deal. The process of Jones getting on our radar started with a video from PBR Wisconsin and was quickly followed by a visit to Circleville High School to watch his Team (Northeast Ohio Elite) take on the Lima Locos. Jones stood out right away with his combination of athleticism/fluidity and looked the part of one of the hardest things for coaches to find in the state of Ohio...a true shortstop. Adding to his skillset, is an efficient swing that will continue to become more dynamic as he adds strength and an easy fastball that has been in the mid 80s. If he can continue to develop physically the sky is the limit.
