TJ Hunt
Director, PBR New Jersey

Make no mistake, New Jersey high school baseball has become a hot bed for talent with numerous players going on to play in the Power Five conferences over the years. But this 2019 class in New Jersey is quickly shaping out to be the most well-rounded top to bottom. To start off, let's take a look at the new Top 20.

THE RISERS

+ Notre Dame recruit RHP Liam Simon (Freehold Township HS, NJ) found his groove this fall with a fastball that routinely touched 88 MPH and a sharp downer slider with 11/5 tilt and fastball arm action for strikes. Long, loose and athletic arm – Simon has tons of room to fill out and increase velocity. Simon jumps up to No. 22.

+ Pittsburgh commit, Middletown South's 3B Robby Zega impressed at the New Jersey State Games in July....
