There was a late night thriller in Glen Allen on Monday night between Douglas Freeman and Glen Allen. Freeman jumped out to an early 3-0 lead that was answered by two in the bottom half from Glen Allen. Freeman answered back with another three in the top of the second to make it 6-2. Glen Allen scored one in the bottom half to bring it to 6-3. In the top of the fourth Andrew Bland singled home a run to make it 7-3 Freeman, but Glen Allen would answer with three more of their own. An Andrew Harris ground out brought in one of the runs and an Ethan Brooks single would bring in another. Brooks would later score on a throwing error to make it 7-6. Glen Allen would tie it up via a hit by pitch in the bottom of the sixth. That score would hold until the bottom of the fourteenth when Anthony Connor singled to center field, scoring Drew Morris and walking it off for Glen Allen with a final score of 8-7.
