West Virginia Draft Preview



The 2017 Major League Draft takes place June 12-14. In advance of the draft, Prep Baseball Report is posting a summary of each state in the coverage area with scouting reports on the top high school draft prospects.

West Virginia hasn’t had a high schooler picked in the top 10 rounds since 2010. With a high follow in RHP Aaron Perry (Hurricane HS, WV), there was a chance of breaking that slump this year, but his season was cut short due to injury.
