2019 is so last year. With the calendar flipped to 2020, The Hotlist looks at some storylines to follow.

AL: Class Of 2021 Shaping Up Impressively
The 2021 class in Alabama has really exploded over the last year and rivals the 2020 class in in terms of sheer athleticism and upside. The class is pitching heavy as 13 of the top 18 players in the class have shown dominant stuff on the mound. Of those 13 arms, 12 have already committed to Power Five schools, including 10 to SEC powers. At the top of the list is RHP Grant Taylor (Florence HS, AL). He is a Louisiana State recruit and has been at the top of the list for a while now. Coming in at No. 2, LHP Pico Kohn (Chilton County HS, AL) is a Mississippi State recruit who jolted his way up the rankings after posting a gaudy stat line (10-0, 75 IP, 0.09 ERA, 125 K) in 2019 for his high school team. In the No. 3 spot is RHP Samuel Dutton (Westbrook Christian HS, AL), who will join Taylor at LSU, and continues to mow down hitters with elite stuff and pitches with confidence. At No. 4 in the state rankings is RHP Grant Cherry (Vestavia Hills HS, AL), who committed to Georgia in late July after showing a live arm with a low-90s fastball.
