WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
Expected Team Strength - The Volunteers expected team strengths in 2023 should be Hitting , Defense , and team speed . The Volunteers returns the top 2 hitters from last year’s squad and should have some pop in the lineup . Defensively Andrew Jackson should be sound with 8 starters returning off last year’s State Championship Team . The Volunteer’s team speed should be a tremendous asset this year on the bases and in the field . With several sub 7 players in the 60 and the team’s aggressive nature this should be a fun team to watch .
