Carolina State Games - Championship Sunday 

 

- 15u Championship Game - South Charlotte Panthers vs. Upstate Mavericks -

Congrats to the South Charlotte Panthers on winning the 15u division of the Carolina State Games. The Panthers offense put up 55 runs in the event and finished off the Upstate Mavericks in the Championship 9-7. The Panthers got a solid start from Drew Lanzo and a great relief effort from Aiden Evans. Graham Smiley, Garrett Michel, & Aiden Evans all had solid tournaments at the plate.

 

-14u Championship Game - Charleston Jr. RiverDogs vs. Fort Caroline Sun Devils -

Congrats to the Fort Caroline Sun Devils on winning the 14u division of the Carolina State Games. Fort Caroline scored 70 runs in the event and got past Canes-Wearing 9-6 in the semifinals. The Sun Devils used a 5 run 2nd inning to distance themselves from the Jr Riverdogs and ultimately capture the championship. William Rollings had a big day, collecting two hits, three RBI, and two runs. Brett Dennis and Kyson Witherspoon chipped in two RBI each in the winning effort.

 

- 12u Championship Game - CBC vs West Raleigh All Stars -

The 12u West Raleigh All Stars joined South Charlotte Panthers and Fort Caroline Sun Devils as Carolina State Game champions. They raced out to a 6-0 lead over CBC and held on for a 6-3 win, earning the right to hoist the PBR Championship trophy.
