Diamond Notes: Week of March 14th - 18th

Diamond Notes is a weekly compilation of notes on South Carolina players from last week. Each week Coaches from across the state send in player notes and stats as the PBR staff is working to name a PBR Player of the Week. PBR scouts are also compiling player notes from attended games, as well as box scores from across the state.
Below we take a look at some of the top performers from this past week of the high school season. The SC Pitcher of the Week was from Seneca High School, 2023 Jacob McGovern. The Player of the week was Braeden Harrison from Dorman High School.

Adam Stacy, Pitcher, Broome High School, 2022
+ 6 innings pitched. 0 runs, 2 hits, 2 BB, 8 K's.
+ Adam pitched 6 shutout innings and did not allow a runner to reach 2nd base. With Adam on the bump, it never felt like the game was in question even thought the score was only 3-0 for most of his start.
+ Adam improved to 3-0 on the season and lowered his ERA to .396. He's given up 1 earned run in 17.2 innings pitched.
Dalton Crawford, C, Broome High School, 2022
+ 5-12 at the plate last week. This included a grand slam against Landrum.
+ Dalton was 3-3 against Emerald last week. Dalton also hit a grand slam against Landrum the night before.
+ Dalton is hitting .381 and has 9 RBI's on the season while catching almost all of our innings behind the plate.

+ Beyers had two big hits with runners in scoring position to extend the lead over Mauldin

+ Lead off guy who is a spark plug for our offense

+ Pitching performance was in a huge win to open region play against Palmetto. Came on in relief and struck out the side in the 7th after tying runs reached to start the inning
