* QUICK HITTERS *

Ben Bullard (3B, Wando, 2022) - Showcased well at 3B with smooth defensive actions and accurate throws. Athletic lateral actions help the defense play up. Tons of barrels in BP with a simple approach. Quick hands were on time often and the ball jumped cleanly, carrying the gaps. Will be a sure follow in game over the next two days.

Gabriel Simmons (SS, Nation Ford, 2023) - Twitchy skillset on display throughout the workout. Loose whippy swing, with a natural uphill path produced gap to gap line drives. Lightening quick hands at SS with above average range and athleticism. High upside follow.

Cooper Holbrook (1B/OF, Porter Gaud, 2022) - Big winner on day one. Strong frame turned in a big time round of BP, one of the loudest of the day. Worked the pull side of the field with tons of juice carrying multiple out of the park.

Buddy Howard (OF, Rabun Gap, 2022) - Solid defensive effort on workout day with consistent accurate throws on target with carry. Athletic approach at the plate showed a low line drive path using the whole field. Hard contact throughout his rounds.

Rom Kellis (3B, P27 Academy, 2022) - Big time BP round with multiple HRs. Loose hand path and max effort swing generate plenty of bat speed. Strong arm from 3B was up to 88. Corner INF profile will continue to develop. Poised for a big weekend.

Calder Garris (C, Wando, 2022) - Big time intent across the board. Consistent exchanges and throws over the bag during the defensive workout. High effort swing with a ton of raw power. Drove multiple balls out during his BP round. Will also see innings on the mound in game 2.

Jacob Jarrell (C, P27 Academy, 2022) - One of the top all around performances on the day. Quality defensive workout with accurate throws, flexibility, and consistent exchanges. Tons of barrels in his BP rounds with gap to gap power. Balanced approach and natural loft in the bat path. Definitely worth a follow for the weekends games.
