LakePoint Open - Top Prospects

On June 1st, PBR Georgia hosted the annual LakePoint Open at LakePoint Sports in Emerson, Ga. Over 40 prospects participated in a pro-style workout, providing us with updated looks and a new list of prospects to follow.

In the days that followed the event, we produced post-event analysis that includes performance highlights inside of our Quick Hits story and a look at the traditional stats measured within our Statistical Analysis piece.

Today, we will continue our post-event process by rolling out the individual scouting reports from the day. We have already released the catchers, outfielders, infielders, and pitchers. Today, we conclude our coverage with a listing of the top-10 overall prospects in attendance.

Top Overall Prospects

Braden Mauro, Daniel (SC), 2024
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 6-foot-2, 170-pounds. Long limbs and lean strength
Hit: LHH. Tall stance, medium base w/ slight bend in knees+angled toward center of balance. Hands start near slot off back shoulder. Creates ridiculous leverage at the plate. works downhill w/ front shoulder tilt as his hips start the swing, allowing him to work on an uphill plane as he separates in the forward move. Steep path
Power: 89 max exit velocity, averaged 80.1 mph. 342’ max distance. Big loft usually, topper line drives otherwise.
Arm: RH. INF - 90 mph. Sidearm slot from SS makes it easier to throw from angles needed at position. big time arm speed.
Defense: good feet for size, always keeps momentum flowing to 1B. Exchange solid but athletic capacity to be much quicker, arm slot will help.
Run: 6.87 runner in the 60.

Trevor Condon, Etowah (GA), 2026
Positional Profile: OF High level 2026, elite athlete.
Body: 5-foot-8, 157-pounds. Athletic frame with tons of room to grow, lean strength, quick twitch.
Hit: LHH. Tall, relaxed, and slightly open stance. Rests bat on shoulder, big leg kick as he gets into launch position. Short path, fires the barrel out front with force, whippy barrel and hand speed.
Power: 89.8 max exit velocity, averaged 82 mph. 269’ max distance. All fields power potential
Arm: RH.  OF - 83 mph. Long action, high 3/4 slot, advanced carry for age.
Defense: Fields position athletically with fluid and confident actions, plays through the ball, clean on exchanges, quick footwork. Quick first step. A perfect fit for CF.
Run: 6.83 runner in the 60.

Jake Gaskill, North Gwinnett High School (GA), 2025
Positional Profile: OF/C Toolsy 2025.
Body: 5-foot-9, 145-pounds. Wiry strength, proportional build
Hit: RHH. Knees inside feet keep him close to center of balance, touch & go off backside w/ hips, perfect rhythm+sequence in forward move. Unreal body control. Little c load, slight downhill path that levels out quickly, knob leads thru zone with barrel replacing last second. Very handsy.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 85.9 mph. 288’ max distance. Lightning quick hands, easy backspin juice to gaps. sprays to all fields depending on pitch location
Arm: RH. C - 71 mph. OF - 78 mph. Mid depth, accurate throws, short arm action to a low ¾ slot.
Defense: Impressive instincts. cuts down distance on throws with speed & smooth routes in the outfield. Behind the plate, clean exchanges and with footwork, has a tendency to stand up.
Run: 6.85 runner in the 60.

Adrian Jimenez, Lanier (GA), 2024
Positional Profile: SS/2B Advanced 2024 bat.
Body: 5-foot-10, 175-pounds. Stocky build, barrel chested, strong lower half
Hit: RHH. Slightly open, wide base, good pace in hips, slow stretch for hip/shoulder separation. hands, back elbow work close to body, knob leads, gets barrel angle late w/ top hand
Power: 89.7 max exit velocity, averaged 86 mph. 323’ max distance. Juice to all fields, gap 2 gap backspin, can shrink and pull big velo just as well as he can produce an inside out swing.
Arm: RH. INF - 86 mph. Short arm action, ability to change slots on 2 ball and slow roller
Defense: Quick feet, well balanced, soft hands, exchange improving.
Run: 7.33 runner in the 60.

Mattheson Go, North Cobb Christian (GA), 2023
Positional Profile: C/3B Swiss army knife.
Body: 5-foot-10, 170-pounds. Lean upper half, muscular yet mobile lower half.
Hit: RHH. Hips & shoulders square to pitcher, wide base, rhythm in hands. Slight wrap before launch position that he gets out of as hands are thrown. level plane w/ quick barrel acceleration.
Power: 91.4 max exit velocity, averaged 87.6 mph. 313’ max distance. Oppo gap pop, works up middle of field, can turn velo when challenged
Arm: RH. C - 79 mph. INF - 85 mph. OF - 91 mph. Generic with standout arm speed in IF/OF, short quick arm stroke behind plate w/ accuracy
Defense: 1.99-2.02 pop times. advanced footwork & exchange behind plate. High energy+soft hands in IF w/ good reads, cannon in OF
Run: 6.86 runner in the 60.

James Fordham, Bleckley County (GA), 2023
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 5-foot-11, 175-pounds. Medium frame, proportional build, strong lower half.
Delivery: Tall and fall delivery, some effort coming from use of mostly his upper half, works on-line, lands square, finishes crossing over or square.
Arm Action: RH. Clean arm action, continuous on the back-side, accelerates with quick arm speed to an over-the-top slot.
FB: T85.9, 82.6-85.8 mph. Sinking action, good feel for. T2283, 2147 average rpm.
CB: 69.6-71.6 mph. 12/6 shape, depth, some sharpness, potential swing and miss. T2059, 1885 average rpm.
CH: 70.7-74.2 mph. Fade action when thrown glove-side. T2050, 1877 average rpm.

Cam Cooper, Banks County (GA), 2025
Positional Profile: C/OF
Body: 5-foot-10, 190-pounds. Present strength in solid frame
Hit: RHH. Tall, balanced setup with a high back elbow, little to no load, short hanging leg stride, good balance, some explosiveness in lower half.  Short swing path to the zone, powerful stroke in a quiet swing, whippy bat speed.
Power: 93.7 max exit velocity, averaged 78.1 mph. 290’ max distance. Drives balls pull-side. Big power potential.
Arm: RH. C - 69 mph. OF - 74 mph. Short arm action, 3/4 slot
Defense: 2.20-2.30 pop times. Soft receiver behind the plate, switches between knee down and a square stance, plays through the ball mostly, can get around it at-times, clean exchanges. In the outfield, clean with feet and hands, some feel.
Run: 7.34 runner in the 60.

Keenan Mobley, North Cobb (GA), 2025
Positional Profile: 3B/SS
Body: 5-foot-10, 155-pounds. Medium frame w/ sloped shoulders, wiry strength w/ long levers
Hit: RHH. Tall stance, narrow open base. controlled rhythm in hands, minimal leg kick that lands softly. hips & shoulders work to right center directionally, creating short inside out swing, top hand palm up thru contact.
Power: 87.2 max exit velocity, averaged 82.2 mph. 310’ max distance. Consistent oppo line drives, works up middle on inner half.
Arm: RH. INF - 72 mph. Short arm stroke with accuracy.
Defense: Plays through the ball, soft glove, smooth hands, clean, makes routine plays
Run: 7.09 runner in the 60.

Jaylen Hoilette, South Gwinnett (GA), 2023
Positional Profile: SS/OF
Body: 5-foot-9, 164-pounds. Athletic build w/ some strength to come
Hit: RHH. Open setup with low hand set that rests the barrel on shoulders  Gap to gap line drives w/ quick barrel whip through the zone
Power: 94.4 max exit velocity, averaged 88.7 mph. 335’ max distance. Ball sounds different off the bat. Loud contact w/ power projection to come
Arm: RH.  INF - 84 mph. OF - 88 mph. Utilizes different arm actions when in the OF or on INF. In OF lengthens out with a full arm swing to an over-the-top slot, throws carry. On the infield, shortens up significantly, quick arm to an over-the-top slot, carry.
Defense: An athletic fielder, moves well in both the OF and on INF, feel for glove, quick on exchanges, quick footwork.
Run: 7.16 runner in the 60.

Isaac Green, Calhoun (GA), 2024
Positional Profile: OF/LHP
Body: 5-foot-10, 165-pounds. Medium frame, proportional build w/ room for strength
Hit: LHH. Base just outside shoulders, hands create rhythm in one spot, head in center of base, barrel angled toward eventual launch position Back elbow tuck as hands are thrown, allowing hands to work freely along rib cage and stay inside ball. barrel lays off back shoulder for smooth & direct path w/ minimal barrel angle. Low effort.
Power: 91.6 max exit velocity, averaged 86 mph. 249’ max distance. Hard line drives gap 2 gap with carry.
Arm: LH.  OF - 85 mph. One piece, full circle. carry and accuracy from OF
Defense: Fundamentally sound, good instincts & baseball IQ play up glove
Run: 7.44 runner in the 60.
