NC/SC Border Battle - SC Player Previews - Corner INF

Eddie Tisdale
Scouting Director - South Carolina

In June of 2016 Prep Baseball Report expanded into North Carolina.  This past year, PBR took another step toward complete territorial coverage of the country by adding South Carolina to its list of states with “boots on the ground”.  A rivalry in the making begins June 24th as North Carolina and South Carolina face off in the Border Battle at Winthrop University.

Each state has put together impressive rosters for college coaches and pro scouts to see as players will represent their area.  Each position player will go through a full workout, including defensive and offensive evaluations, followed by a controlled scrimmage.  Pitchers will face live hitters in the scrimmage sessions.  Along with game play, players from each state will be facing off to see who can top the leader board for top fastball, top exit velocity, top pop times, and more.

This showcase will encompass more than just players working out for exposure… it is about State Pride!!!

Here are the corner infielders that will make up the PBR South Carolina roster. We will continue our player previews with OF, Middle INF, C, and Two Way Players (Pitcher/Position) over the course of the next two days!
