On Sunday October 27th PBR of South Carolina was on hand at Winthrop University for our Senior Games. The event featured players from the 2025 grad class.

The day started with players running a laser timed 60 while using swift timing gates to measure their 10 yd/ 30 yd/ and 60 yd split, along with testing vertical jump on the jump mat. After the athletic testing, position players took BP on the field with Trackman collecting ball flight data, followed by catchers, outfielders and infielders going through a defensive evaluation.  

After the workout, the players where split into to teams and played a controlled game.  Pitchers threw to live hitters in a controlled environment, allowing PBR Scouts to control pitch count and stress of each inning.  Hitters got live looks at pitchers, allowing the coaches and scouts in attendance to further their evaluations after BP, in the live setting.

Will Assaley, Dreher (SC), 2025
Positional Profile: C/3B 
Body: 6-0, 168.2-pounds. Long lean athletic frame.
Hit: LHH. Even setup with slightly bent stance and high loose hands. Slightly uphill path through the ball with a short path through the ball.
Power: 88 max exit velocity, averaged 77.2 mph. 302' max distance. Pullside approach with pop to right field.
Arm: RH. C-75 mph. Good short arm action with good carry and direction on throws.
Defense: 2.04-2.11 pop times. Clean exchanges and footwork on throws. Does a good job with blocking and recovering.
ATH: 7.58 runner in the 60. 1.70 and 4.12 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 28.00 max vertical.

Ayden Gallegos, White Knoll HS (SC), 2025
Positional Profile: C/1B 
Body: 6-2, 183.2-pounds. Strong lean frame with athleticism.
Hit: RHH. Simple setup with a even base and lower hand setup. Uses a smaller leg lift and medim stride to get to a balanced hitting position. Compact stroke throght the zone to a higher finish.
Power: 86 max exit velocity, averaged 79.8 mph. 294' max distance. Gap to gap approach 
Arm: RH. C-73 mph. Shorter arm swing with quickness
Defense: 2.11-2.20 pop times. Clean exchanges with good footwork.
ATH: 7.99 runner in the 60. 1.76 and 4.29 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 

Aiden Hughes, McBee (SC), 2025
Positional Profile: C/2B 
Body: 6-0, 175-pounds. Strong lean frame with athleticism.
Hit: RHH. Upright stance with simple setup and even base. Small leg lift and stride to hitting position. Short compact swing through the zone with an upward path through the zone.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 82.9 mph. 320' max distance. Gap to gap approach 
Arm: RH. C-73 mph. Short quick arm swing while throwing form a H 3/4 arm slot.
Defense: 2.07-2.16 pop times. Good clean exchanges and gets ball out quickly.
ATH: 7.35 runner in the 60. 1.70 and 3.99 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 28.10 max vertical.
