According to the Coach

Baseball hasn't been a priority at Gatlinburg-Pittman but with a new facility and new coaching staff, steps are being made to build a contender. The team will be made up of 17 young men with 5 seniors, 3 juniors, 3 sophomores and 6 freshmen. The team's attitude, chemistry and coachability are there to have a successful season. District 3-AA will be very competitive with all teams returning major assets to their respective teams. For us to be a contender, we must throw strikes and play exceptional defense. Our hitting will have to get better in a hurry.
