We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Tennessee's 2021 Preseason ID. This was a great opportunity for the class of 2021-2024 prospects to be put on college radars with confirmed metrics and high-quality prospect video. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase.

1.2.21 Quick Hits

Grant Morgan C / OF / Independence , TN / 2022

Aidan Conley SS / 3B / Montgomery Bell Academy, TN / 2023

Lawson Aaron 3B / RHP / Evangelical Christian, TN / 2023

Carter Waltz LHP / OF / Springfield , TN / 2023

Tanner Mabry RHP / 1B / Eagleville, TN / 2022

Hunter Williams SS / 2B / Wilson Central, TN / 2022

Limited frame at 5-foot-5, 155-pounds, but Williams can play a bit and is quite athletic.  Well rounded showing going 82 on INF Velo, 4.53 home to first, and 85 exit velo.  Would be second baseman at next level, but handles the stick from the right side.  Good pop for frame with plenty of bat speed and positive rotational acceleration data.

Andrew Whalen 3B / RHP / Franklin, TN / 2023

The 6-foot, 170-pound third baseman out of Franklin put together an impressive performance.  Proportional frame with some projection. Tall, open stance with small leg kick generating average bat speed and solid rotational acceleration.  Ball jumps off barrel with consistent hard contact topping at 87.2 and averaging 3rd best 81.8 mph per Trackman.  Good athlete in the infield and plenty of arm strength going 88 across the infield.  Low 80s on the mound with feel for spin up to 2132 rpm.

Dominic Hendricks OF / 2B / Smyrna, TN / 2021

Ian Reagan C / RHP / Silverdale Baptist, TN / 2023

The Soph. Silverdale Baptist backstop put together a very solid performance in his first PBR showcase.  Solid frame at 5-foot-11, 170-pounds with room to add on mass. The arm strength really stood out behind the dish, 74 on the gun with good accuracy for 2.07-2.13 pop time. At the dish, sound base with simple load, getting on plane early, with line drive approach. Not a complete product offensive, but qualities that can contribute while solid behind the dish.

Jay Watson RHP / 1B / Rossview, TN / 2022

Big body right hander at 6-foot, 235-pounds, coming at hitters from a side arm slot.  Watson showed some feel for the zone with his dancing mix of pitches. Heavy sinking FB at 75-77, T78 (1700s rpm per Trackman) with heavy arm side action, almost tumbling to the bottom of the zone.  Located down in the zone while mixing up with running FB above the belly button.  Mixed a sweeping SL at 67-70 showing flashes of some late bite, as a solid offering when located.  Creates great tunnel off FB away from RHH running back inside paired with SL darting out of zone for S/M. Showed solid CH as third offering at 68-71 with natural fade and depth, showing signs of harnessing in the movement.
