Daily Roundup: March 12 Games

It was a busy night on the diamond across Tennessee last night. The following is a look at some of the scores and highlights from the action around the state.

Andrews 7, Copper Basin 4

At the plate Raxter went 1 for 4 with a double and Newton went 1 for 2. Barton picked up the win on the mound for Andrews.

Sycamore 12, Siegel 6

Bailey Baker went 3 for 4 with a double and Robert Newton was 3 for 4 with two doubles. Strassburg got the win for Sycamore on the mound.

Morristown West 3, Grainger 2

Jordan Artime was 2 for 2 with and double and Josh Mcdonald was 1 for 1 with a double as well. Jordan Artime picked up the win on the mound for the Trojans.

North Side 6, Madison 5

Markevous Mckinnie was 2 for 3 with a double, followed by Issac Haynes and Neal Lasley who each had a double. Neal Lasley picked up the win on the mound.

Ooltewah 6, Sale Creek 2

Caleb Collins and Mitch Duncan were both 1 for 2 with a double for the Owls. Austin Spurgeon picked up the win on the mound.

Rossview 10, Montgomery Central 9

Austin Davis went 4 for 4 with a double, Colin Maddalena was 3 for 3 with a triple, followed by Bradely Wilson who had a home run. Austin Davis picked up the win on the mound.

Hardin Co 6, Milan 3

Nick Godwin and Lucas Haywood were both 2 for 3 to lead the Hardin County offensive attack. Nick Godwin picked up the win on the mound.

Rossview 5, McCallie 3

Davis and Brown were both 2 for 4 to lead Rossview over McCallie. Kiely picked up the win on the mound.

Central 6, William Blount 3

Jackson Greer lead the Bobcats offensive attack going 2 for 2 at the plate. Jeremiah Howard and Steven Trewhitt each had a double. Andrew Biddle picked up the win on the mound.

Central 8, Stone Memorial 2

Alex Haynes was 2 for 4 with a double , followed by Jeremiah Howard, Jackson Greer, and Steven Trewhitt each with a double. Bradley Clark picked up the win with six strikeouts.

Union County 13, Campbell County 10

Cochran was 1 for 2 with a double and Foust was 2 for 4 to lead Union County past Campbell County. Collier was also 1 for 2 .

Blackman 3, White County 0

Alex Finney and Jacob Whitehead were both 2 for 3 to lead Blackman past White County. Lather had eleven strikeouts and got the win.

Catholic 10, Lenior City 0

Plenty of offensive for the Irish. Nelson was 2 for 3 with a triple, Orler was 2 for 2 with a double, and Cottam was 2 for 2 for the Irish.

Ripley 7, Rossville Christian Academy 3

Stone Meadows was 2 for 3 and Vaden Mills was 1 for 2 to lead Ripley offensively. Heston Sanders picked up the win on the mound.

Westmoreland 5, Red Boiling Springs 2

Jordan Holmes had a huge night going 4 for 4 with a homerun. Jordan Holmes was 2 for 4 with a triple followed by Tyler McLoughlin going 2 for 4 with a double. Darren Akins picked up the win on the mound.

Greenbrier 6, East Robertson 4

Smith was 2 for 3 with two doubles and Grogan was 1 for 3 with a home run and picked up the win on the mound for Greenbrier.

Scotts Hill 10, Martin Westview 0

Cainan Maners  and Jarrett Cavness both were 3 for 4 for Scotts Hill. Hunter Pope was the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts.

Lexington 10, Westview 1

Ryne Odle was 2 for 3 and Heath Essary was 1 for 4 with a homerun. Mikey Draeger picked up the win with six strikeouts.

Brighton 12, FACS 0

Ladarius Williams was 3 for 4 and Dustin Rodgers was 1 for 2 with a double. Adam Painter picked up the win on the mound.

Bearden 10, Sequoyah 9

A lot of offensive from the Bulldogs. Brady Duncan was 4 for 5 with a double, Brandon Trammel was 2 for 4 with a double and David Beam and Connor Cameron each had a homerun. Clark Paynter picked up the win on the mound.

Bradley Central 2, McMinn Central 2

A very intense game that ended in a tie between two good ball clubs. Chandler Hamilton went 2 for 3 for Bradley Central and Hunter Shaw was 1 for 3 for McMinn Central. Hunter Shaw had four strikeouts for McMinn Central and Chandler Hamilton and Gunner Norwood pitched for Bradley Central.

Science Hill 8, Riverdale 7

Jordan Holly went 2 for 3 with a homerun and Bryson Tolley was 2 for 3 to lead Science Hill over Riverdale. Landon Knack also had a homerun. Reece Westmoreland got the win on the mound.

Science Hill 2, Shelbyville 1

Connell Boyle was 2 for 3 and Landon Knack was 1 for 2 with a homerun.  Nick Bernardi got the win on the mound.

Jefferson County 12, Halls 2

Hayes was 3 for 4 with two doubles. Munguia and Morgan both were 1 for 3 with a double. Hensley got the win on the mound for the Patriots.

Collierville 6, Desoto Central 0

Hicks was 3 for 3 with a triple and Parker Phillips was 2 for 2 with a home run. Alex Johnson was the winning pitcher with 6 strikeouts.

Lebanon 8, Alcoa 2

Nolan Allison went 1 for 2 with a double and Jake Millay was 1 for 1 with a triple. Zane Potter picked up the win on the mound .

Columbia Academy 6, Lawrence County 5

Luna lead the way going 3 for 4 with a double , Lantz was 2 for 4 with a triple and Martin was 1 for 2 with a triple as well to lead Columbia Academy to the victory

Heritage 2, Gibbs 0

Devon Gardener went 2 for 4 followed by Hunter Terry and Daniel Price both going 1 for 3. Austin Delozier picked up the win on the mound.

Macon County 6, Trousdale County 3

Herbert and Woodard both were 2 for 3 to lead the offensive attack. Woodard got the win on the mound for Macon County.
