- Martin, an uncommitted 2020 prospect attending his first PBR event, introduced himself in a big way, showcasing a repeatable swing w/ rare balance for his size.  Projecting to hit for plus average and power, he is an intimidating force in the box with his 6'4, 250 pound frame.  A must see player in the 2020 class for any team looking for a big-time force for the middle of their lineup.

FB Velocity
85 - 2020 LHP Cade Elliott (Daniel Boone)
85 - 2019 RHP Jack Julian (Hixson)
85 - 2021 RHP Caleb Warta (Knights Academy)

84 - 2019 LHP Brogan Beckner (Dobyns Bennett)

- Elliott, an uncommitted 2020 prospect attending his first PBR event, jumps out for his combination of size (6'6, 225 pounds) and present stuff.  He offers a lot of projection to go with extension to the plate, allowing his stuff to play up.  In addition to the FB working 83-85, he showed an above average CB w/ late bite at 66-72 and a CH that flashes at 73-75.  A must see lefty pitcher this spring.

- Julian, an uncommitted 2019 prospect attending his first PBR event, showed intriguing two way skills, highlighted by his performance on the mound.  The physical, 6'3, 220 pound RHP showed a quick arm, consistently pounding the zone the zone with his 83-85 FB.  He was also intriguing as a catcher, posting consistent sub 2.0 pop times and showing a powerful swing that projects to hit for power.  A must see player this spring.

- Warta, an uncommitted 2021 prospect, improved his FB velocity by 2 ticks since we saw him in November.  Featuring the same lightning quick arm, he worked consistently 83-85 w/ an idea of pitching with intent on his FB.  While his secondary stuff is still developing, the pure arm strength combined w/ his projectable frame makes him a very intriguing follow for the next 4 years.

- Mealer, an uncommitted 2019 prospect, improved his top velocity since we last saw him this summer.  Featuring a very projectable frame w/ a quick arm, he pounded the zone w/ FB's ranging 82-85 w/ above average arm-side run.  He also showed a late breaking 64-65 CB and 75-77 CH that flashed.  A very intriguing arm to follow into the spring.

79 - 2019 3B Dane Beard (McCallie)
78 - 2019 2B Jacob Jennings (Soddy Daisy)
78 - 2018 SS Juan Mercedes (Chattanooga School for Arts and Sciences)

- Beard, an uncommitted 2019 prospect attending his first PBR event, had a strong all-around workout.  While he led his peers in IF velocity, he was also tied for third in exit velocity.  He did not limit his strong showing to the position player side, as he also showed a 79-81 FB on the mound w/ feel for spin.  An interesting 2019 to track.

OF Velocity
81 - 2020 OF Isaac German (Clarksville Academy)
79 - 2019 OF Chad Marsh (McCallie)
77 - 2020 OF Ayden Hutchinson (Gibbs)
77 - 2019 OF Linden Alford (Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences)

- German, an uncommitted 2020 prospect, beat his previous measurements in OF velocity, exit velocity and max FB velocity by 1 mile per hour since we saw him in November.  He continues to show a projectable frame w/ arm strength and an intriguing swing that flashes w/ extension and back-spin.  An intriguing player to follow into the spring.

1.91-1.94 - 2019 C Dakotah Danner (Montgomery Central)
1.91-1.97 - 2019 C Harrison Travis (Soddy Daisy)

- Danner, an uncommitted 2019 prospect, continues to impress as both a receiver and thrower while showing bat upside.  Featuring a quick release w/ above average accuracy and arm strength, he is able to get the ball out efficiently and on target.  He also shows above average agility behind the plate, allowing him to box balls and keep everything in front of him.  He matched his 87 mile per hour exit velo from when we saw him in November, showcasing the same short to the ball swing that projects to hit for average and gap power.  An intriguing 2019 follow.
