The Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association (TBCA) formed a committee of representatives from each classification to put together their preseason rankings. The initial listing features the top ten from all six classes as voted on by high school coaches. For all six, the number one team was featured in their respective state championship last season. East Robertson (1A), Science Hill (4A; previously 3A), and Baylor School (D2-AA) are reigning champions that will open the season in the top spot while Pigeon Forge (2A), Hardin County (3A), and North Point Christian (D2-A) are 2021 runner ups at the top.
