TN 11-AAA District Tourney Report: Independence

We covered the 11-AAA District Tournament, sitting at Brentwood for the majority of the event.  Due to weather throughout the week, some games were moved off site.  We will dive into individual team looks as part of our district tournament recap.  Stats are based on the games we saw.

-       7 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 9 K

-       6-11, 3 2B, 6 BB

Vanderbilt commit continued to show his two-way potential.  Pounded the zone w/ 2, including a projectable FB w/ life in the zone.  Makes him mark in the batters box.  Premium approach w/ ability to put himself into quality counts.  Generates premium bat speed through the zone w/ back-spin.  Ball jumps off his barrel to all fields, projectable all fields power.  Special hitter.  Defensively, tracked down balls in LF.
