Tennessee Co-Players of the Week: Chance Fullington and Hal Bishop

By Matt Byrd
Director of Scoutingfullington

Each week we receive nominations for Player of the Week of several players who are deserving of the award. Most times, after sorting through the numbers, one player stands out among the rest. That wasn’t the case this week.

In six games last week, Farragut infielder Chase Fullington, a North Carolina signee, put on an offensive show. Fullington went 11-for-19 with six doubles, one home run, four RBI, five walks, and seven runs scored. To make that even more impressive, four of those six games were in the National High School Invitational Tournament in Cary, North Carolina featuring 16 of the top high school baseball teams in the country.bishop

Not to be outdone, Fulton senior Hal Bishop, a Carson-Newman commit, had a power surge last week. Bishop went 10-for-13 with a double, four home runs, 13 RBI, and eight runs scored.

For their performances on the field, Chase Fullington and Hal Bishop have been selected as PBR Tennessee Co-Players of the Week.
