Knoxville Catholic senior left-hander Ethan Elliott took the mound against Farragut last Friday and proceeded to pitch the Irish to a 3-0 victory over the nationally-ranked Admirals.

Elliott was in complete command in pitching the complete game no-hitter. He walked none while striking out five in leading Catholic to the win. The only runner to reach base against Elliott came via a hit batter in the sixth inning who was left stranded at first base.  He threw a total of 89 pitches (63 for strikes) in the efficient effort.

Elliott is headed to Lincoln Memorial University in the fall.
