Mt. Juliet came into last Friday’s matchup with Farragut red-hot, having won five consecutive games and 8 of their last 9. The Golden Bears continued that streak, thanks in large part to Jacob Cole.

The junior right-hander turned in a dominant performance against the Admirals in a 5-0, complete game victory. Cole allowed just three hits, all of which came in the first two innings. He walked three and struck out eight in the three-hit shutout

Cole handed Farragut, coming off being selected as the PBR Tennessee team of the week last week, their third loss of the season against 15 victories. For his performance on the field last week, Jacob Cole has been selected as the PBR Tennessee Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 30-April 4.
