There was a lot of rain around the state, but that didn’t stop Arlington from having an impressive week. In fact, last week was no aberration; the Tigers have been getting it done all season.

With a record of 21-2, Arlington hasn’t lost in a month, powered by a deep pitching staff. The Tigers have allowed two runs or less in 16 games this season. In fact, in their last seven games, the Arlington pitching staff has thrown four shutouts while allowing just one run in the other three contests. It’s been a formula for success the entire spring.

Last week, Arlington rattled off impressive wins on back to back days in defeating JCS 7-0 and USJ 10-1. The two wins stretched their winning streak to 20 games.

For their performance on the field, the Arlington Tigers have been selected as this week’s PBR Tennessee Team of the Week.
