We released our initial Class of 2016 rankings in November with our top 25 prospects in the class. With the opportunity to see more players in the class at our winter events and in games so far this spring, it is time to update and expand the rankings.

These rankings will be updated and expanded after our summer events where we will have the opportunity to evaluate many additional players from the class, and others who have attended previous events may show they have made strides in their game.

Sevier County RHP Zach Linginfelter remains entrenched in the top spot. Linginfelter, a Tennessee commit, has a fastball that sits consistently in the low 90’s.

Alex Haynes is a newer addition to the top five after his electric bullpen session at our East Tennessee Prospect Showcase during the winter. Haynes has been in the No. 4 spot since that January performance.

Thomas Dillard (No. 2), Duncan Pence (No. 3), and Tyler Thompson (No. 5) round out the top five.
