The 2025 Tennessee high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Tennessee.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in Murfreesboro at the state tournament championships – but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Tennessee. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 25 rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

2025 OUTLOOK

+ The Adamsville High baseball program looks to rebound after a disappointing 2024 season where they went 13-18 and not making it out of district play. Adamsville has had a string of juggernaut teams that went to the state tournament in 2022 and 2023 respectively. The 2025 spring brings new hope as Adamsville brings back 7 starters and 5 pitchers. They will bring back two senior leaders that will set the tone. Senior LHP/OF Brayden McLemore returns as a 3 year starter and will be depended on to be a guy on the mound. McLemore has made big strides this fall and should be primed for a big spring. Senior RHP Ayden McGee is a Southwest TN CC commit and is another guy who has made big strides in the fall and looks to be the ace of the staff going into the spring. Other upperclassmen that will be big contributors are juniors SS Isaac Howard and RHP Maguire Luna. Howard returns as a career .300 hitter and will hit towards the top of the lineup while also manning the shortstop position. Luna earned quality innings on the mound as a sophomore and should take another step to improve as a junior. Adamsville also has an impact freshman in Schaffer Wilmeth who should push to be the starting catcher this spring. Wilmeth already shows advanced actions with a strong arm behind the plate. 

Adamsville returns a strong pitching staff that they’ll look to lean on to help them win games. They also possess great team speed and a good defense that should be essential to be successful in close games.
