2025 OUTLOOK
+ The Collierville High baseball program finished the 2024 season going 31-15 and was eliminated by Clarksville in the sectional round. Collierville comes into this spring returning their entire starting lineup from last season along with 5 pitchers.
Collierville returns a ridiculously talented senior class. We will highlight 7 guys that will be impact players. 2025 University of Tennessee commit RHP/OF Ari Bethea is a former Future Games participant and one of the best senior arms in the state of Tennessee. Bethea showcases a fastball that has been up to 92 mph and a mid-70s slider that has a spin rate of 2500. 2025 Delta State commit RHP/INF Cael Allen comes in as a big arm to complement Bethea with a fastball that sits in the upper 80s. Allen also swings a hot stick with an exit velocity up to 95 mph. 2025 Belmont University commit LHP Ridge Harvey is another quality arm that will be in the rotation for the Dragons. Harvey has a fastball that has been up to 88 mph and upper 70s slider with a 2540 spin rate. 2025 Northeast Mississippi CC commit OF/INF Brody Winemiller is a former Future Games participant that hits in the middle of the lineup with big pop. Winemiller has shown an exit velocity up to 94 mph. 2025 Belmont University commit INF/RHP JD Whitworth is the shortstop and top of the order hitter for Collierville. He is a true gamer that has a knack for coming up with the big hit. Whitworth has good pop with a a 92 mph exit velocity and sneaky speed with a 7.04 60 time. 2025 University of Memphis commit UTL AJ Greene returns as the starting catcher and the 3 hole hitter for Collierville. Greene is another true gamer that is good for a couple of hits a game. He has also shown big pop with an exit velocity up to 95 mph.2025 Northeast Mississippi commit RHP/OF Ayden Jacobs is a big right-handed arm that can really do anything on the baseball field. Jacobs has a fastball that has been up to 90 mph, but is also a big bat with an exit velocity up to 98 mph. Jacobs has tremendous upside with his big athletic frame which should help him continue to excel as he reaches the next level.
In the junior and sophomore classes, Collierville returns 4 impact players. 2026 C/MIF Jack Bogenreif jumped onto the scene last year and secured the leadoff position and second base. Bogenreif also made the Super Sophomore team. 2026 UTL/RHP Bradley Stubbs was also named to the Super Sophomore team. Stubbs pitched important innings on the mound in 2024 and should have an even bigger role this spring. 2026 RHP Joshua Hull is a transfer from rival Houston. Hull is a big arm that has been up to 90 mph. He should be able to help Collierville immediately. 2027 LHP Tyler Robinson was on the Super Freshman team. Robinson has a fastball in the low 80s and will add to the Dragons depth on the mound.
Collierville comes into this season returning pretty much their entire team from the year before that won 31 games. The Dragons have a loaded lineup and tremendous top of the line pitching. Collierville and Nolensville should be the favorites to win the state championship in May.
