2025 OUTLOOK

+ The Dickson County High School baseball program finished the 2024 season 18-22 and was eliminated by Rossview in the regional round. Dickson County will come into the spring returning 2 starters and 2 pitchers from the 2024 team.

The senior class returns two impact players in Ethan Hinson and Landon Gage. 2025 INF/OF Ethan Hinson is an athletic infielder that should return to play third base. Hinson also has some pop with an exit velocity up to 85 mph and good speed with a 7.17 60 time. 2025 RHP Landon Gage will be one of the better arms with the ability to pound the strike zone in the upper 70s.

In the junior class, there is one impact player in 2026 LHP/OF Lane Brown. Brown is a true two way guy for the Cougars. Brown has a fastball up to 84 mph complemented by good off speed in the low 70s. Brown also swings it well with an exit velocity up to 93 mph.

The freshman class brings a big time player in former Junior Future Games participant 2028 RHP/INF Alex Potter. Potter showed out at the Junior Future Games as a true two way prospect. Potter was dominant in his appearance on the mound with a fastball up to 85 mph and a sharp breaking ball in the low 70s. Potter can also swing it with an exit velocity up to 91 mph. He will be an impact player immediately for the Cougars.

Dickson comes into the spring extremely young with 24 out of the 34 players on the roster being underclassmen. The Cougars are led by legendary coach Rodney Parker who will surely have these boys playing hard which is the calling card for every team that has come through his program.
