2025 OUTLOOK

+ The Evangelical Christian Academy baseball program finished the 2024 season going 11-17. Evangelical returns 8 starters and 7 pitchers from last spring.

The senior class returns two impact players in Kyle Mabie and Henry Crosby. 2025 University of Memphis commit INF/OF Kyle Mabie brings great leadership and big time pop to the lineup. Mabie has an exit velocity up to 96 mph and will be counted on to hit runners in this spring. UTL/RHP Henry Crosby has the versatility to play multiple positions for Evangelical. Crosby will also be going to Missouri to be the long snapper this fall.

The junior class returns four impact players in Knox Aaron, Caiden Caldera, Bryce Terry and Bennett Edwards. 2026 OF Knox Aaron will be the center fielder for Evangelical where he shows great speed and instincts. 2026 INF/RHP Caiden Caldera looks to be one of the big arms on the mound while also looking to improve at the plate. 2026 UTL Bryce Terry is a versatile player that has the ability to play all over the field while also being a gamer at the plate. 2026 UTL/RHP Bennett Edwards comes in as the ace of the staff where he thrived last year.

The sophomore class brings back the #1 player in the state of Tennessee, Banks Addison. 2027 MIF Banks Addison is a former Future Games participant and is the best player in the state of Tennessee in the 2027 class. Addison put on a show at Future Games hitting a bomb in the first game against Georgia. Addison is tooled up with a 92 mph exit velocity and shows the actions necessary to be a true shortstop at the next level.

Evangelical Christian dealt with injuries in 2024 that thrust young players into big roles. This should pay big dividends in the coming years and give Evangelical a chance to flip the script make a run in the district.
