2025 OUTLOOK

+ Greenville High comes into 2025 as one of the top 3A teams primed to bring home a state title. In 2024, Greenville came up one game short of the state title game in a close loss to Station Camp. The expectations for 2025 should be state or bust for this veteran group that returns 8 starters and also returns 244 innings pitched out of the 259 total innings played. Among those 8 starters are 4 seniors that have played every game of their high school career. One of the top seniors returning is 2025 Virginia Tech commit Carson Quillen who is also one of the top 2025 players in the state. Quillen hit .453 as a junior adding on 23 doubles, 48 runs and 24 stolen bases. He was also the ace on the mound, going 9-2 with a .992 ERA and 72 strikeouts. Quillen should once again not only be one of the standouts for Greenville but the entire state of Tennessee. Other senior standouts will be Kobe Mundy, Noah Murray, Connor Ireland and Jeriah Griffin. Out of the 2026 class, Will Harmon returns after being an All-Region player while also being named to the TNBR Super Sophomore team. Harmon hit at a .366 clip as a sophomore with 30 RBI’s. He also was a big part of the pitching rotation with a 7-6 record, 78 strikeouts and a 2.65 ERA. Other 2026’s that will return as big factors are Maddox Bishop and Randen Fillers. Bishop was also on the Super Sophomore team while hitting .305 with a .470 OBP. Fillers returns as a a big part of the rotation as he amassed 20.1 innings going 3-2 and racking up 24 strikeouts. The last big contributor on this list is 2027 Kaine Ricker, who was named to the Super Freshman team. Ricker is a utility guy who can play anywhere while also hitting .382 with 30 RBI’s. This Greenville team is loaded with depth and talent across the board. They should be poised to make another deep run in Murfreesboro this spring.
