2025 OUTLOOK
+ Lebanon High comes into the spring with one of the most veteran teams in the entire state. Lebanon returns 7 starters and 8 pitchers from the 2024 team. In 2024, Lebanon went 20-19 and finished in the middle of the pack in a tough district that includes a mixed bag of Wilson County and Rutherford County teams along with Cookeville. This could be the year that Lebanon takes that next step and competes for the two top spots in the district.
Lebanon returns 3 impact seniors that includes a pair of Vol State commits in 2025 Evan Driver and Samuel Peach. Driver will be a big presence in the middle of the lineup standing at 6’3. Driver will also be the primary first baseman. Peach also has an impressive frame standing at 6’4. Peach, a left-handed pitcher, should be one of the top of the rotation arms. Another 2025 senior is right-handed pitcher Jordan Jewell who should slo be one of the top arms. Jewell will also be a corner infielder and be one of the better bats in the lineup. Lebanon will also have two impact juniors in 2026 Case Collins and Evyn Underwood. Collins is an impressive 6’5 right-handed pitcher who should round out an impressive rotation. Underwood is an outfielder who should return as a big bat.
The Blue Devils will have a tremendous depth and returns three other upperclassmen that will play a big part in the success for Lebanon this spring. 2025 Cade Thorne who is an infielder and right-handed pitcher should be a scrappy bat in the lineup along with a solid glove. The other senior is 2025 Cooper Hays who will be the shortstop. The other upperclassmen will be 2026 Will Wright or will return as Lebanon’s primary catcher. Lebanon also has some young guns that have a chance to contribute to this veteran team. A pair of 2027’s Carter McPeak and Wesley Diggs have a chance to crack the lineup as sophomores. McPeak is an outfielder and Diggs is a shortstop. They should at the very least add depth. The last guy that will push for a spot is 2028 Scout Loftis. Scout has already put up 90 plus exit velocities and ran a 6.92 60 time in the fall. Loftis will be a name to watch out for in the next couple of years.
Lebanon has the chance to take a step and work their way into the regionals and beyond. Region 4 District 7 will be one of the most competitive districts in the entire state.
