ROSTER PREVIEW

+ Key Returners:

2025 OUTLOOK

+ Siegel baseball finished the 2024 season going 33-14 and making it to the state tournament where they were put out by Beech High. Siegel loses most of their lineup which consisted of a talented senior class. They do return 4 position players from a very talented junior class. The two biggest impact players will be 2026’s OF Drew Hostetler and SS Trey Baker. Hostetler returns as the speedy leadoff hitter and has put up big metrics in recent showcases. He just recently put up a 98 exit velocity and 92 mph from the outfield. He also posted a 6.58 60. Drew should be poised for another huge junior season. The other big returner will be SS Trey Baker. Baker will once again be the 3 hole hitter and shortstop. He brings a big bat along with 6.8 speed. Other junior returners will be OF Ryan Russell and C Tristan Thornton. Both Russell and Thornton will be depended on to step and carry more of the offensive load. It should be a huge advantage for Siegel to return the entire middle of the field, which includes their catcher, shortstop and center fielder.

Siegel will also return some important arms on the mound. The two big returners will be senior right handed pitchers Chalan Patterson and Cooper Underwood. Both pitchers were important arms down the stretch. Siegel also returns one of the best 2026 arms in the state in RHP Colton Baron. Baron was out with an injury in 2024 but looks on pace to be back for the 2025 campaign. He will showcase a 3-pitch mix and an upper 80's fastball that has a chance to creep into the 90's He will be one of the biggest additions to any rotation in the state. The Stars did lose tall right-handed Lawson Lee to focus fully on basketball, as he came with some upside, but the depth on the mound should be a strong suit for them this season.

While Siegel loses a lot from a very talented class, they also return some very important pieces that should put them in prime position in making another run this spring.
