2025 OUTLOOK

+ The Upperman High baseball program finished the 2024 season going 19-17 and was eliminated by Signal Mountain in the sectional round. Upperman was coming off of back to back state championship appearances and ended up winning it in 2022. Upperman returns 8 starters and 7 pitchers from last year’s team.

In the senior class, four impact players return. 2025 Tennessee Tech University commit OF/LHP Justin Fallon is a former Future Games participant who has been the leadoff and center fielder for Upperman his whole high school career. Fallon has totaled over 147 hits in the past 3 years and has hit over .400 twice. He is also a big arm on the mound and has topped out at 93 mph. 2025 Carson Newman University commit RHP/INF Alec Wilson comes in as one of the top of the staff arms for Upperman. Wilson is a strike thrower that gets soft contact. He will also be the starting first baseman for the Bees. 2025 Roane State commit MIF/RHP Julian Llano returns as the starting shortstop and top of the order hitter for Upperman. Llano will also be the ace of the staff with a fastball in the upper 80s. 2025 C Rookie Allison will be the starting catcher for Upperman. Allison has been a strong defender behind the plate where he has been a staple since his freshman year.

In the junior and sophomore classes, two impact players return in Carson Shupe and Chris Wirsing. 2026 INF/C Carson Shupe will be relied upon to be a big bat in the middle lineup and man one of the corner infield positions. 2027 INF/RHP Chris Wirsing made an immediate impact for the Bees, plugging into the middle of the lineup as a freshman. Wirsing will also see increased innings on the mound with a fastball up to 87 mph.

The Upperman Bees had a disappointing year in 2024 with the standard they have set for themselves. Upperman has become a perennial powerhouse in 3A baseball. With a strong senior class, they are poised for a return to Murfreesboro and a run at the state championship.
