The 2025 Tennessee high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Tennessee.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in Murfreesboro at the state tournament championships – but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Tennessee. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 25 rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

2025 OUTLOOK

+ The West Ridge Wolves come into the spring 2025 season coming off a disappointing 2024 season that saw them finish 10-17 with a quick exit in the District 1 tournament losing their only two games. However, the team looks composed to change course this season with a number of upperclassmen returning to the fold as they bring back 6 returning starters with 5 returning arms. Senior Brayden Barr has been someone that we have followed for 2 years now and will be returning as this group's leader. He is a 3-year starting All-Conference player. The Wolves also have senior Kade Oliver who should man shortstop and another 3 year starting All-Conference player. In the junior class, the club returns RHP and 3rd baseman Reed White who will be making his 3rd straight year starting in the field. The club also has a physical sophomore in RHP/1B Dale Martin who should supply them with innings on the mound, while bringing offensive production at the plate. Hitting and defense looks to be this club's strength as they embark on the 2025 season. The challenge doesn’t get any easier with strong opponents listed on their schedule. However, look for the Wolves to finish stronger than they did last season, while not being surprised if they make it out of district play this year.
