Today, we spent some time looking over some of the top uncommitted talent headed our way who are currently on rosters ahead of the tournament. Below we're evaluating the top players headed to Milwaukee this weekend; listed in order of their overall state ranking.

2025 Prospects

State (WI) Rank: No. 11

+ Jack Zeller, 2B/SS (Indian Trail HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: Hitters 2025

3/03/24: "Zeller showcased his skills with the bat during the hitting portion of the event with an upright set up, loose hands and impressive feel to put the barrel on the ball. His ultra-simple left-handed swing consistently drove the ball from gap-to-gap and he registered an average exit velocity of 86.2 mph. Another big takeaway was the improvements he made on the infield. Moving with smooth actions and a quick first step, Zeller looked the part of a lockdown defender at the next-level, pairing it with an arm that topped at 85 mph across. While his workout was impressive, Zeller really shines in live gameplay, something our staff has become quite familiar with over the past year or so, and he is certainly one of the top uncommitted prospects inside of the Badger State.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 13

+ Dylan Campeau, RHP/ (Greendale HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: Midwest Halos Scout 2025

7/11/24: "...broke out as a name-to-know in the state the prior weekend, and reaffirmed his status as one of the top uncommitted arms in the state on Tuesday. The right-hander was responsible for the loudest ‘pen of the day, running his fastball up to 91.6 mph sitting 87-91 throughout his ‘pen. His fastball plays with run and life through the zone as he flashed the ability to command it to different parts of the zone. Campeau also showed two different offspeed pitches that look to play right now. The first is an upper-70s curveball that flashed sharp 11/5 break with above-average spin at 2500+ RPMs. Rounding off his arsenal is a running low-80s changeup that he worked around the zone with. Campeau is one of the top uncommitted arms in Wisconsin and will be representing Team Midwest in the upcoming 17u Future Games later this month.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 14

+ Kaden Connor, 3B/SS (Monona Grove HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: GRB Rays 2025 Green

3/10/24: "...was impressive as a two-way prospect on Sunday. The lean and projectable 6-foot, 175 pound Connor started his day by running a respectable 7.10 seconds 60-yard dash showing burst and quick turnover once underway. Connor is a smooth swinging left-handed hitter with a natural swing sequence that is short and quick to the baseball with easy extension through. On the infielder, the junior is a sure-handed defender with a strong and accurate arm at 83 mph. On the mound, Connor repeats a clean and athletic delivery with a quick arm and gets his fastball working downhill to spots up to 83 mph. He also has a sharp down curveball 71-72 mph and a quality change up with depth 71-73 mph.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 18

+ Jack Roventini, RHP/RHP (Arrowhead HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: Midwest Halos Scout 2025

9/23/23: "Recently debuting on Wisconsin’s 2025 rankings board, RHP Jack Roventini (Arrowhead, 2025) provided yet another impressive look at The Rock. Listed at an athletic 6-foot-2, 180-pounds, Roventini is an athletic and clean mover on the bump, pairing it with a deceptive arm path that certainly makes it tough to pick up for opposing batters. Throughout his three innings of relief, Roventini sat in the 85-87 mph range with his fastball and showed the ability to go in and out of the zone with it, too. He was also confident in sweeping breaking ball in the mid-70s that earned swings-and-misses.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 27

+ Manuel Sostre, RHP/OF (St. Thomas More HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: Hitters 2025

9/20/23: "At 6-foot-3, 150-pounds, Sostre boasts some of the biggest upside inside of the Badger State’s junior class. On Saturday, Sostre got the start for Hitters in their first game of the day where he ran his fastball up to 87 mph early on and sat in the low-to-mid-80s throughout. He also featured a low-70s breaking ball that flashed tight 10/4 action, too. The ease and fluidity of his delivery, paired with the frame that Sostre presents make him a very intriguing right-handed arm to continue to closely monitor.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 30

+ Jack Poellot, RHP/INF (Lake Country Lutheran HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: GRB Rays 2025 Green

9/23/23: "...had a very strong showing this weekend which included six strong innings of no run baseball. Poellot showed clean, consistent mechanics with a strong upper body that helped him stay around the zone. Throughout the six scoreless, Jack ranged from 85-88 mph with some arm side run on the fastball, combining it with a tight 11/5 slider that sat 74-76 mph”

State (WI) Rank: No. 31

+ Mason Sommer, LHP/1B (West Bend East HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: GRB STiKS Black

2/17/24: "...is a high-upside left hander who possesses one of the higher ceilings in the state. The 6-foot-5, 168-pound lefty has long levers with a lean and wiry build that seems capable of handling more strength. It’s an up-tempo delivery with a high leg-lift and athletic movement downhill, leading to a full arm action into a ¾ slot. Sommer sat in the mid-80s and topped at 85.7 mph on his fastball, showing a 4-seamer with life and a sinker with arm-side run. His upper-60s curveball has depth with some sweeping action, while his changeup sinks to the arm-side at 75-77 mph. Offensively, Sommer uses a rhythmic toe-tap, creating good separation to generate power. It’s a slightly uphill path that leads to balls hit in the air through the middle of the field. The West Bend native also showed good footwork around the bag at first base. The size and athleticism is there for Sommer, as he is certainly an intriguing uncommitted prospect inside of the Badger State.”

2026 Prospects

State (IN) Rank: No. 5

+ Sean Dunlap, C/OF (Crown Point HS, IN, 2026):

Travel Team: Chicago Cubs Scout Team

10/15/23: "...impressed throughout the fall & was one of the best prospects at the event. A projectable, 6-foot-3, 185 pound backstop with plenty of room to continue to pack on strength - Dunlap showed off some of the best bat speed of the day in both batting practice and gameplay. The sophomore catcher was able to spray the ball with authority throughout his batting practice round, reaching a peak exit velocity of 94.7 mph. That approach translated in gameplay as Dunlap found multiple barrels and showed the ability to use the whole field. Dunlap showed off arm strength during workouts (78 mph from the crouch) and also offers above-average receiving abilities behind the dish. Dunlap projects as a power-hitting catcher with arm strength - a valuable profile that makes him one of the top backstops in Indiana’s 2026 class.”

State (IN) Rank: No. 12

+ Jake Winger, 3B/RHP (McCutcheon HS, IN, 2026):

Travel Team: Chicago Cubs Scout Team

3/03/24: "Winger looks the part of a real prospect and has added significant strength to his 6-foot-3, 210 pound frame over the offseason. I love the mechanical adjustments that Winger has made this offseason - toning down his high leg kick to a now controlled, toe-tap stride. This allows Winger to be on-time with his forward move more consistently, and this showed with 60% of his swings coming off the bat at 90 mph or better. Winger turns the barrel on an ideal path, working on-plane early before the barrel works on a slightly uphill path through the hitting zone. A 7.04 runner - Winger's exit velocities peaked at 97.3 mph and he holds upside as a real power threat. WInger also provided an upside look on the mound, running his fastball up to 88 mph with easy-effort arm action that suggests even more velocity is in the tank.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 4

+ Colton Semmelmann, LHP/1B (Brookfield Central HS, WI, 2026):

Travel Team: GRB STiKS Black

4/05/24: "The 6-foot-1, 176-pound left-hander is one of the top pitchers in the state’s class of 2026. An athletic mover on the mound that has shown the ability to repeat his delivery across an extended outing which has helped his ability to command his pitches. His fastball got up to 87 mph early in his outing and sat 84-86 throughout. Semmelmann was able to locate his fastball to both his arm-side and glove-side in this look and earned swings-and-misses in the zone. Semmelmann was confident in his low-70s curveball that is another swing-and-miss offering for him and showed feel to throw to both sides of the plate against both handed batters. Rounding off his pitch mix Semmelmann showed a low-80s changeup that he threw to both handed batters, flashing like a potential weapon against any hitter once he gains more feel of the pitch. A rising arm in the class of ‘26 Semmelmann will be one to follow across his prep career as he matures both physically and on the mound.”

State (IL) Rank: No. 13

+ Brandon Thomsen, C/3B (St. Viator HS, IL, 2026):

Travel Team: Cangelosi Sparks North 2026

8/12/24: "...showed well all week behind the dish, a theme our staff has become accustomed to seeing out of the 6-foot-1, 188-pound backstop. The incoming-junior displayed advanced actions in the crouch and also seemed to be comfortable catching arms he had never handled in the past. His defensive tools shined brightly during the workout portion earlier in the week as well, where he had a 1.95 pop time, while tossing his best bullet at 80 mph from the crouch. Thomsen also showed the ability to barrel the baseball from the right side during batting practice, where his average exit velocity was 94.4 mph (T99), which was good for top-20 in the entire event. His average distance of 316 feet during BP, was another metric that found him among the event’s best.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 5

+ Chance Ruby, SS/RHP (Wilmot Union HS, WI, 2026):

Travel Team: GRB STiKS Black

7/10/24: "Coming in at an athletic 6-foot, 176-pound frame, the No. 11 ranked player in Wisconsin’s 2026 class had a stellar showing in all facets of the game this weekend. He had an impressive day on both sides of the ball Saturday going 2-for-4 with an RBI-single and ranging to make several tough plays over at shortstop. He continued to impress at the plate in bracket play Sunday going 4-for-4 with a triple and scoring twice. He also would come in for the save in the semi-final and would start the game on the mound in the championship for GTS. He would throw a complete game only allowing two runs to earn GTS the 5-2 victory. He had a four pitch mix, pounding the zone with his fastball at 83-85 mph and producing swings and misses with his slider at 71-74. His changeup was 71-74 with arm-side sink and his curveball was 68-71 mph with 11/5 action.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 6

+ Winston Alonso, 3B/SS (Reedsburg HS, WI, 2026):

Travel Team: GRB Rays 2026

3/10/24: "Currently ranked No. 9 in our Class of 2026 rankings, INF Winston Alonso (Reedsburg, 2026) put together yet another strong performance in front of our staff. Built at a lean 6-foot, 172 pounds, Alonso stayed short and direct to the ball from the left-side to shoot line drives from gap-to-gap. His hardest hit ball of his round registered a 92 mph, while he averaged 81.5 mph throughout and his furthest batted ball traveled 336 ft., which speaks to the power potential he possesses. On the infield, he featured steady, sure-handed actions and paired it with a quick arm that was up to 82 mph across. He has proved that these abilities transfer in-game, too, and he furthered the notion of being one of the state’s top sophomores following his performance on Sunday.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 8

+ Ezra Liggon, OF/LHP (Madison Memorial HS, WI, 2026):

Travel Team: Hitters 2026 Navy

3/16/24: "Much like his brother Caleb, OF Ezra Liggon (Madison Memorial, 2026) boasts an equally projectable frame, listed at 6-foot-4, 190 pounds. Liggon showcased his explosive athleticism with one of the top vertical jumps of the events of 31.1 inches. With the bat, Liggon boasts a simple and repeatable swing from the left-side of the plate and back-spun balls to all fields. He showed off plenty of arm strength to play center or right field with an outfield velocity of 87 mph during the defensive portion of the event. It was yet again, another impressive look at the sophomore with serious upside.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 9

+ Tyson Grulkowski, RHP/1B (Muskego HS, WI, 2026):

Travel Team: GRB STiKS Black

2/17/24: "...is a 6-foot-5 two-way player with upside on both sides of the ball. On the mound, despite his lanky levers, he is an ultra-clean mover, pairing it with a loose and quick arm. His fastball was up to 86.4 mph with carry and run, showing natural feel to go in and out with it. His hard slider had sharp 11/5 tilt with tight break through the zone, at 77-78 mph and also nearly 2,700 RPMs on average. He rounded out his repertoire with a deceptive changeup in the low-80s that featured big running action, roughly 18” on average, and depth. Offensively, Grulkowski put on a show during his BP round, as he led all in attendance with a 100.8 mph max exit velocity, while also averaging 95.1 mph. Grulkowski showed quick movements with the bat with strong hands and an uphill, pull-heavy approach. It’s a whippy barrel through the zone with a narrow set-up and quiet, early toe-tap. Defensively he showed a quick first step with athletic arm action. His 87 mph throw across the diamond was among Saturday’s leaders, too.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 13

+ Caleb Liggon, 3B/OF (Madison Memorial HS, WI, 2026):

Travel Team: Hitters 2026 Navy

3/16/24: "...was measured at a long, athletic and projectable 6-foot-4, 178 pounds. Liggon showed off his athleticism on Saturday with an impressive vertical jump of 30.3 inches which was one of the top jumps of the day. With the bat he hits with a wide base and a quiet load, staying balanced throughout the swing allowing him to consistently barrel up baseball with control of the barrel. There is a free and easy feel to the swing while watching the ball jump off the bat, registering 91.7 mph max exit velocity. On defense, the third baseman has a quick first step and controls his body well working through the ball with quality actions. It was another quality look at the sophomore with a ton of upside.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 14

+ Cameron Carter, RHP/OF (Arrowhead HS, WI, 2026):

Travel Team: Hitters 2026 Navy

7/17/24: "Carter, a 6-foot-4, 170 pound frame had an impressive outing this weekend against the Midwest Halos. He tossed a complete game with 13 punchouts and only allowed one hit. Carter's fastball was sitting 85-88 mph and topping out at 88 mph, exploding out of the hand with finish through the zone. The curveball was sitting 75-77 mph with 2250 rpm, showing depth and pairing effectively off fastballs at the top of the zone. Mechanically he has a clean and smooth delivery throwing from a high ¾ slot. High-upside arm set to toe the rubber for Wisconsin at the Future Games in a couple weeks.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 20

+ Vincent Bitter, RHP/1B (Brookfield Central HS, WI, 2026):

Travel Team: GRB STiKS Black

4/05/24: "The 6-foot-1, 207-pound right-hander was the first arm out of the ‘pen for the Lancers on Friday. Showing a lively two pitch mix across his 1.1 innings on the mound, Bitter struggled to control his pitches in this outing, however his stuff was impressive throughout. Bitter was 85-87 mph with his fastball, able to run it up to 90 on his hardest bullet and the pitch earned swings-and-misses in and out of the zone. Bitter also flashed a sharp low-70s slider that projects as a potential out pitch moving forward. Bitter has the arm talent to be one of the top pitchers in his class moving forward and will be a name-to-know moving forward.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 22

+ Matthew Hietpas, RHP/SS (Appleton North HS, WI, 2026):

Travel Team: GRB Rays 2026

7/17/24: "Portraying a strong 5-foot-10, 174-pound frame, Hietpas was shoving on the mound for Impact Baseball. The righty threw three innings in order to save his arm for later in the weekend. Hietpas only gave up three hits while striking out five. His fastball topped 84 mph and sat 80-83 throughout the first three innings. He complemented his fastball with a 69-71 mph curveball. The difference in speed had hitters off-balance. Mechanically, Hietpas is relaxed and loose on the mound and has a long stride with the ball leave his hand easily.”

State (IL) Rank: No. 23

+ Max Heineman, SS/OF (Normal Community HS, IL, 2026):

Travel Team: Rhino 2025/2026 Godfrey

8/12/24: "...had a quality showing at this year’s event, which included being named the Dicks Sporting Goods Player of the Game in Illinois’ win over Kansas. In that game, Heineman went a perfect 3-for-3 with a double, RBI and one run scored. The 5-foot-10, 188-pound backstop impressed with his catch-and-receive, as well his motor behind the dish and ability to block the baseball. At the plate, the right-handed hitter took quality at-bats and proved to be a tough-out for opposing pitchers. During the workout portion of the event, he posted a max exit velocity of 95.9 mph, while averaging 87.1 mph, and sending his farthest hit ball 338 feet. Defensively he posted a pop time of 1.97 with a 76 mph velocity on his best ball down to second base.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 24

+ Bron Schaefer, LHP/OF (Kaukauna HS, WI, 2026):

Travel Team: GRB Rays North Green

7/17/24: "Possessing an athletic 6-foot, 168.9 pound frame with room for added strength, Bron Schaefer was lights out on the mound for GRB Rays North. The lefty came in to relief and threw two innings not allowing a single hit or walk while striking out five. Schaefer works quickly on the mound, not allowing much time for the hitter to adjust. He has a quick leg kick and a long stride. He short arms on his delivery throwing out of a 3/4 arm slot. His 80-84 mph fastball shows to be firm and have a lot of spin. He pounds his fastball on the corners of the plate and will throw a 70-72 mph sweeping slider once in a while. At the plate, Schaefer batted lead-off going 1-for-1 with two walks. He has a narrow stance with low hands and a high leg kick while remaining loose and relaxed.”

State (IN) Rank: No. 23

+ Eli Sinsabaugh, SS/OF (Cathedral HS, IN, 2026):

Travel Team: Chicago Cubs Scout Team

3/03/24: "Sinsabaugh is a real 80 grade runner, who turned in a 6.25 60 at the Preseason All-State, and actually ran twice for good measure with both times coming in at a sub-6.30. We've seen his feet impact the game in a major way during gameplay, and should see much of the same during his sophomore campaign. Sinsabaugh is a real weapon on the basepaths and his foot quickness translates to range in the middle of the infield. The bat is becoming more impactful, reaching a peak exit velocity of 90.9 mph, and Sinsabaugh has added rhythm and athleticism to the swing compared to looks last season. The arm is a solid tool, as well, reaching 88 mph across the infield. One of the twitchiest movers I've seen in my time with Prep Baseball - the feet are game-changing and Sinsabaugh profiles as a table-setting MIF/CF at the collegiate level.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 27

+ Carson Hawley, OF/RHP (Bay Port HS, WI, 2026):

Travel Team: GRB Rays 2026

2/24:/24: "...is an athletic two-way player with strong tools across the board. Hawley sets up with a wide base and high hands, landing centered on-time with good separation. His quick hands and direct path create good leverage and bat speed out front, resulting in plus power. Defensively, Hawley showed athletic actions and reached 90 mph from the outfield, the third-best mark of the day. His 7.14 60-yard time was among the top 10 performers on Saturday. On the mound, the sophomore has a rhythmic delivery with a medium-high leg tuck, landing slightly crossfire in a repeatable and athletic manner. His arm was on-time and quick, a high-¾ slot that led to good velocity - Hawley topped at 86.4 mph with carry. The curveball has 11/5 break with tremendous late depth, a pitch thrown with firmness at 76-77 mph. The changeup has some depth and fade at 79-80 mph, a pitch thrown with fastball arm speed and good feel.”

State (IL) Rank: No. 29

+ Dominic Battista, OF/SS (Oswego East HS, IL, 2026):

Travel Team: Rhino 2025/2026 Godfrey

8/22/24: "...continues to solidify himself as one of the state’s top prospects. An athletic build with more to come, Battista stands in a 5-foot-11, 168-pound frame. Ranked No. 27 in the state’s 2026 class, he began the event running a 6.75 60 time, a significant improvement since his last event. He had an impressive round of batting practice, showcasing a quiet approach with fluid pre-pitch movement, staying direct to the ball with a slightly uphill bat path. He recorded a max exit velocity of 97.6 mph (avg. 87.5 mph), while sending his farthest hit ball 381 feet. A strong defender in the outfield, Battista also displayed a strong arm on throws to home (T90 mph). He finished gameplay 4-for-7 with a home run, triple, two RBIs, three runs scored and two stolen bases. A high-level uncommitted prospect in the state’s incoming-junior class.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 30

+ Aidan Kolb, SS/2B (Hartford Union HS, WI, 2026):

Travel Team: Hitters 2026 Navy

3/03/24: "At the plate, it’s an open set-up with a crouch, working to a controlled glide into a centered hitting position with quiet hands. Kolb generates bat speed from his short, direct path, also controlling the barrel to hit the ball consistently through the middle of the field at up to 90 mph. In the infield, there’s quickness and bounce to his feet, resulting in good lateral movement. His soft hands and aggressive actions have the makings of a quality defender on the dirt. Kolb reached 83 mph on his top throw across the diamond, with accuracy. Rounding out his game, the sophomore ran a 7.20 60-yard dash, one of the better times of the day.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 31

+ Jimmy Angle, OF/OF (Kettle Moraine HS, WI, 2026):

Travel Team: GRB STiKS Black

3/10/24: "...is a talented 2026 who had a quality showing at the plate and in the outfield. Angle hits with quick hands from a right-handed swing, hammering line drives to all fields and registering one of the top exit velocities of the day 95.9 mph and the seventh best average exit velocity of the day at 87.4 mph. From the outfield, Angle showed off impressive arm strength at 88 mph which was the fifth best velocity from an outfielder on the day.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 32

+ Caleb Johns, RHP/3B (New Berlin Eisenhower HS, WI, 2026):

Travel Team: Hitters 2026 Navy

7/17/24: "Possessing a strong and athletic 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame, Caleb Johns got the win on the mound for Hitters Navy. Johnson threw four innings only giving up one earned run and two hits. Mechanically, the righty displays a smooth and easy delivery with a high leg kick and low 3/4 arm slot. Johns consistently threw a running 80-85 mph fastball the whole game touching 86 mph. He pounded the outside and inside corners on batters which jammed them creating weak contact.”
