2017 PBR Draft 100 Newcomers

By Nathan Rode
National Supervisor

Last week, the PBR Draft 100 was updated, reflecting some late fall action. As with any update, there were plenty of changes. While several prospects were previously ranked and shifted around, there were a dozen players to enter the rankings. They are listed alphabetically below.

Cody Bolton, RHP, Tracy HS, CA
Bolton has a lean, projectable frame at 6-foot-3, 185 pounds. He turned in a strong performance for the Indians Scout Team in Jupiter, allowing just one walk in three innings while striking out four. His delivery is clean and athletic with a high leg kick. He relied heavily on his fastball, which sat mostly at 90-91. He also mixed in a sharp slider at 80-81. Bolton is committed to Michigan and entered the PBR Draft 100 at No. 70.
